My new task is progressing slowly no my new canopy for BetaFPV Pavo Pico. However, I donβt think I can come up with anything else. Walksnail 1s fits nicely. Caliper and solidworks helped a lot in my design π
So far, I like the effect – almost…
I designed new propeller guards. I decided to print them on an FDM printer and use the very durable Polymaker PolyMide PA6-CF filament.
Several versions, several prints and generally I am very happy with this part of project.
I think it turned out interesting. There is a frame for the camera and the controller. There is also a cover for the camera itself and there was even time and space to design a lens cover for storing the Pavo Pico.
The frame is designed specifically for the microVee (although the photo shows a prototype of a dipole antenna).
As for the resin itself. It looks great and its durability seems to be very high. I dare say I improved the factory π
The weight of modified a Pavo Pico (without batteries is quite good) is 47.8g.
Now it’s time for tests long rang FPV flights with Pavo Pico ;). Let’s see how walksnail 1s performs paiered with my new goggles X. It’s time to make perfectly matched set on goggles antennas and Microvee antenna for this drone.
Okay, stop writing and show some photos π
Now it’s time for a custom frame for prescription lenses to Walksnail Goggles X because I am a happy owner of astigmatism. Generally this are not best goggles for european… And on the other hand, I don’t feel like ordering lenses with RHO because want to try do them by myself.
So they will be printed from same durable resin. Lenses will be cut on CNC.
